Synthesis and Characterization of Al-SiC Functionally Graded Material Composites Using Powder Metallurgy Techniques

An overview of the processing, mechanical analysis and performance of Al-SiC functionally graded materials is studied .Established powder metallurgy technique is used in the processing phase. The effect of SiC addition on the density of Al, densification parameters of Al sintered functionally graded materials are studied.
