Surface Modification of HSS by Induction Boriding

In this present investigation, the surface modification of high speed steel of M2 grade was attempted. The aim of this work is to combine the process of induction hardening and conventional boriding without affecting ductility and toughness. Cross section was examined by optical microscope and Vickers microhardness test.
