BI systems act as measurements units for a business or an organization. Poor intelligence leads to poor decision making. BI has problems like data quality, which an organization has to overcome, in order to improve its decision making. A serious effort has been made to understand the cause of poor quality business analytics over the past several years. Most organizations and analysts agree that the main reason of erroneous reporting is the operational data which is used for generating these analytical reports as the data is filled with errors, duplications and inconsistencies.
