A Novel and Advanced Interleaved Power Converter for a Three Phase Standalone Inverter Compensated With STATCOM Using ANN

In this project, a novel standalone distributed generation system (DGS) is designed and developed. The scheme is novel in the sense; at the front end an interleaved buck-boost converter is presented. Besides, a STATCOM is also proposed to be placed near the load, such that; the advantages like utilizing the source infrastructure more judicially while delivering the power at the required power quality can be achieved. The novelty of the scheme is that both the STATCOM and the front end converter will be governed by a common neural network based controller. The project will be developed in MATLAB environment.
